One of Ireland’s best known exports Brendan Gleeson celebrates his birthday today. So we decided to look back at a few of his best film roles.

Gleeson, who is 58 today, has been entertaining audiences for over 20 years now and became Hollywood’s go-to guy in the process.

The Dublin man won an Emmy award for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in 2009.
