The Germans have landed in Cork!

The Port of Cork was stormed this morning by the Germans and a combined European fleet. It was only a matter of time really but it has left us with some cool pictures.

Here are our new overlords arriving in the German Navy Ship Weilheim M1059 in Cork Marina.

Of course the Poles are backing up their neighbours in the taking of our little country. This is the crew of Orp Czernicki surveying the Port of Cork.

It looks like our primitive defences are not going to keep out the Dutch minesweeping ship Urk.

Even the Belgians have sensed weakness, sending in their vessel the Bns Bellis.

Okay! Okay! We fuss up! Ireland is safe for now.

The ships are here because of naval exercises taking place over the last few days.

Various European navies took part and the boats are moored in Cork as part of a courtesy visit.
