We reported earlier that Dublin was to be invaded by Muppets, after the below tweet was sent out this morning:

The 'announcement' prompted lots of reaction on Twitter, and we all thought that it was great, until this…

"Wow, a lot of people VERY excited about our Muppets news," said Disney, a while later.

"Just to clarify the confirmed details. Dublin has been added to the list of tour locations which the Muppets will perform in during their global tour IN THE MOVIE ‘The Muppets….Again!’

"Apologies for any confusion."
