Batmobile goes under the hammer

The original Batmobile from the 1960s television series has sold at a US auction for $4.2m (€3.15m).

A spokeswoman for the Barrett-Jackson Auction Co in Scottsdale, Arizona, says the winning bidder had not been disclosed.
