Birthday boy Bowie's announcement sends Twitter wild

A lot has happened since the last time David Bowie released new material.

Ten years ago Concorde was still flying commercially and phones with a camera were the next big thing – but on his 66th birthday today the superstar announced that his 26th album, The Next Day , will be released in March, with a brand new single Where are we now? posted on his website.
