BBC Two names Channel of the Year

BBC Two has been named Channel of the Year at the Edinburgh International Television Festival.

It saw off competition from last year's winner, ITV1, to win the gong.

BBC4 was named Digital Channel of the Year.

Terrestrial Programme of the Year went to Sherlock for the second year running.

Transatlantic hit Mad Men, broadcast on Sky Atlantic, was named Digital Programme of the Year.
