Murphy branches out into gangster role

Cillian Murphy will play a gangster in a new BBC Two drama 'Peaky Blinders'.

The 'Dark Knight Rises' actor will play Tommy, the most ruthless brother in a family of gangsters, who rule post-World War I neighbourhoods in Birmingham in 1919.
