No plans to reschedule 50 Cent visit after autism comments
There are no plans to reschedule a planned appearance by 50 Cent at Carphone Warehouse in Dundrum Town Centre tomorrow, after the star's controversial comments on autism created a public backlash.
He responded to an over-eager fan by tweeting “just saw your picture fool. you look like you have autism”.
The event was cancelled yesterday, after the star had apologised for the comments.
I realize my autism comments were insensitive, however it was not my intention to offend anyone and for this I apologize.

A promotion for his planned visit to promote his new SMS audio headsets on the Dundrum Town Centre facebook page attracted much negative commentary, and Carphone Warehouse cancelled the visit.
In a statement this evening, headphone distributors FĂłnua confirmed there were no plans to reschedule this event, and apologised for any confusion or inconvenience caused.
