Forbidden Fruit festival set to expand
POD has announced today that it is looking to expand the Forbidden Fruit festival to venues around the country.
The three-day urban festival attracted thousands of revellers to IMMA in Kilmainham, Dublin this year despite some inclement weather.
Promoters are currently looking at sites in Cork and Galway to replicate the multi-stage festival for 2013.
"The atmosphere on each of the three days was second to none and the standard of performances from all the acts was amazing across the weekend," said the organisers.
"We were particularly pleased to see the massive success of the newly added comedy stage, the Chuckleberry Lounge. Plans are already afoot for Forbidden Fruit 2013."
