Singer Hill in tax trouble

Lauryn Hill has been charged with failing to file tax returns for three years.

The 37-year-old singer – who has not released a solo album in 10 years – has been accused by a federal court in New Jersey of not filing the returns in 2005, 2006 and 2007 despite earning $1.6m (€1.27m) in that time.
