Clooney set to direct again
George Clooney is set for his fourth stint in the director’s chair with political drama 'The Yankee Comandante'.
The Oscar-winning actor is “attached” to take control of the big-screen adaptation of David Grann’s New Yorker article, reported Deadline.
Clooney – who previously directed 'Good Night And Good Luck', 'Leatherheads' and 'The Ides Of March' – is also expected to co-produce the film with producing partner Grant Heslov.
The feature tells the true story of American rebel soldier William Alexander Morgan, who was honoured with the highly regarded title of Comandante after he helped Fidel Castro and the Cuban rebels overthrow Fulgencio Batista.
