Brand to host MTV Movie Awards

Russell Brand is to host next month's MTV Movie Awards.

The 36-year-old actor, who divorced singer Katy Perry earlier this year, has starred in films including 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' and 'Arthur'.

'The Hunger Games' and 'Bridesmaids' top nominees for the 21st annual awards, which will take place on June 3 in California.
