Depp: 'Dark Shadows' a passion project
Johnny Depp has described his new movie as a "passion project".
Tim Burton-directed gothic comedy 'Dark Shadows' had its European premiere in London last night.
It is the eighth collaboration between Depp and Burton. Helena Bonham Carter, who is married to Burton, said the men share "a really bad sense of humour".
"I think to be honest they're so lazy, they can't be bothered to work with anybody else," she joked.
Depp said the two grew up on the Hammer horror films and, speaking about the make-up work on 'Dark Shadows', said: "It seemed that a guy who's been dead for 200 years, should look like he's been dead for 200 years."
