Fourteen acts added to Electric Picnic lineup

Crystal Castles, SBTRKT and Squarepusher are among the 14 acts that have been added to the Electric Picnic lineup today.

Irish artists Gavin Friday, Dublin Gospel Choir and In Tua Nua are also set to appear at the popular music and arts festival.

Patti Smith, Richard Hawley, Eagle and the Worm, The Jezabels, Grandaddy, The Maccabees, Van Dyke Parks and Michael Kiwanuka round off the latest round of additions to the bill.

Headliners The Cure, The Killers, Elbow, Sigur Ros, Christy Moore, Orbital, Hot Chip and The XX have already been confirmed.

Tickets for Electric Picnic, which will take place in Stradbally, Co Laois from Friday, August 31 to Sunday, September 2, are on sale from Ticketmaster outlets.
