Family and friends of The Dubliners musician Barney McKenna will bid a final farewell to him later today.

The funeral of the 72-year-old banjo player is taking place at Saint Patrick's Church in Trim, Co Meath this afternoon, after which he will be laid to rest at Saint Loman's Cemetery.
