Affleck set for role in political comedy
Ben Affleck could be entering the political arena – for a film role.
'The Town' actor is apparently attached to star in political comedy 'Nathan Decker', according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog.
The light-hearted role, which Tom Cruise was previously linked to, would see Affleck play an adulterous politician who decides to return to his hometown to confront his past.
A director has yet to be found to take control of the movie.
Affleck, who is an active political campaigner for the US Democrats, is currently finishing post-production on his political war thriller 'Argo'.
