Sinitta wants Simon Cowell to move house after an intruder was found in his wardrobe.

The 'So Macho' singer - who dated Simon in the 80s and has remained his close friend ever since - admits she fears for his safety following the break-in on Saturday night, when a woman allegedly smashed the bathroom window of his London home and wandered from room to room.

She told British website Digital Spy: "I think it's pretty alarming really. It's probably affected me worse. I think he should move and everything now.

"Change security, build a high gate around his house - or just move. What on earth were the security doing? Were they asleep?"

Leanne Zaloumis, 29, of Catford, south east London, appeared at West London Magistrates Court on Monday accused of aggravated burglary with intent. She was remanded in custody until June 12.

Not allowing the scare to bring him down, Simon - who split with fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy last year - has now fallen for the charms of a 'Britain's Got Talent' make-up artist.

Cheryl Cole look-a-like Francesca Neill is currently working as fellow judge Alesha Dickson's assistant, and Simon admits he already has the hots for her.

According to The Sun newspaper, he said: "We have the new, cutest make-up artist. But I just can't talk to her, I'm kind of tongue-tied."
