Dublin couple pick up €250,000 cheque

A Dublin couple have picked up a cheque for €250,000 at National Lottery offices.

The pair won the top prize in the Lotto Plus 2 draw last Wednesday.

The anonymous couple bought the lucky €6 Quick Pick ticket at Jordan’s Centra, Springfield Shopping Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

They said their plans for the win included "paying some loans and maybe a holiday".

Tomorrow’s jackpot will be over €10m, the biggest this year so far.
