Humperdinck to sing ballad for the Eurovision

Engelbert Humperdinck will sing a love ballad at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, representing the UK.

'Love Will Set You Free' isn't expected to do well - with many putting the UK's poor run of form in recent years down to political issues.

The veteran crooner - who's best known for his 1967 hit Release Me - is hoping to reverse the UK's fortunes at this year's show in Azerbaijan.

Last year, reformed boy band Blue came 14th, while Josh Dubovie took last place in 2010.
