'Corrie' stars disturbed by violent storylines

A number of ‘Coronation Street’ stars are reportedly upset about the show's violent storylines including the recent brutal murder of rapist Frank Foster (Andrew Lancel).

While executive producer Phil Collinson vowed to ditch the grisly scenes and bring back more family friendly plotlines when he took over in 2010, some of the actors and actresses are said to upset this hasn’t happened and instead 10 characters have died since his appointment.
