Simpson expecting baby girl

Jessica Simpson has confirmed that she is expecting a baby girl.

The actress and singer had already revealed that she and fiance Eric Johnson are expecting their first child, but she has now told US Elle magazine about the baby’s gender.

Simpson – who “did a Demi” by posing nude on the cover of the magazine’s April issue – also revealed that the couple have decided on a “non-traditional” name for their daughter.

“We’re sure. We’re embroidering it on things. It’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary. When people hear it, they’ll know why,” she said.
