Cannon 'blessed to be alive'
Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon has said he feels “blessed to be alive” after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.
The 'America’s Got Talent' host has battled health problems this year, including suffering mild kidney failure and being treated for blood clots on his lungs.
The 31-year-old has now told People the kidney disease was a result of an “autoimmune disease that (doctors) found in my system”, and the blood clots were directly connected to the kidney problem.
The 31-year-old went on: “I feel blessed to be alive. If it wasn’t discovered, I don’t know (what would have happened).”
