Perry set to star in new sitcom
Matthew Perry has apparently clinched the lead in a new comedy show.
The former 'Friends' star looks set to play a sportscaster in an upcoming pilot for NBC, reports TVLine.com.
'Go On' follows a sportscaster who is in group therapy while he struggles to move on following a loss.
It will be Perry’s latest bid to find success on television since he played Chandler Bing in 'Friends'.
After 'Friends', the 42-year-old starred in two shows, 'Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip' and 'Mr Sunshine', which were both cancelled.
He also made guest appearances in programmes such as 'Scrubs' and 'The West Wing'.
