Cheryl Cole is recording a song written by Lana Del Rey.

The 'Promise This' hitmaker - who is currently working on her third album - has discovered an urban-mid-tempo ballad written by the 'Video Games' singer and is keen to have it on the follow-up to her 2010 album 'Messy Little Raindrops'.
