Irish dance act wins 'Got to Dance' crown

The members of Irish act 'Prodijig' have been crowned Ireland and Britain's best dance act for 2012.

The seven-member dance troupe won the public vote on Sky One's 'Got to Dance' last night.

The group's contemporary twist on traditional Irish dancing helped them fight off tough competition from nine other acts to claim a £250,000 prize.

Afterwards they said they were over the moon to have won and that they could not wait to go home and see their families in Ireland.
