Arctic Monkeys release single independently

Arctic Monkeys released their new single without the backing of a record label.

The British rockers are currently in a bidding war between two companies but they decided to go ahead and bring out 'R U Mine?' yesterday as they wanted it to coincide with their US tour with The Black Keys, which starts on Friday.
