Dujardin wins Best Actor Oscar

Jean Dujardin has won the Best Actor Oscar for 'The Artist'.

The other nominees were:

Demian Bichir – A Better Life

George Clooney – The Descendants

Gary Oldman – Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

Brad Pitt – Moneyball

Earlier, Fatal Attraction star Michael Douglas gave the award for Best Director to Michel Hazanavicius for 'The Artist'.

He said: “I forgot my speech. I am the happiest director in the world right now.”

He thanked the stars of the film including Uggie the Dog, adding: “I think he doesn’t care, I’m not sure he understands me.”
