Jackson installs comedian Connolly as dwarf in movie

Billy Connolly has got himself a part in 'The Hobbit'.

Director Peter Jackson has said he cannot wait to see the Scottish comedian play Dain Ironfoot, the staunchest and toughest of dwarves.

The first installent of the movie, the pre-quel to the Lord of the Rings, is due to be released in December.
