Wallace and former fiancé talking again

Jessie Wallace's former fiance has said that he wants her back.

The 'EastEnders' actress dumped Vince Morse on their wedding day last August after discovering he had sent a racy photo of her to his former girlfriend but after seeing pictures of her with a new man, Morse is determined to rekindle his relationship with the 40-year-old star.

He told The People newspaper: "Jessie and I are talking now, I don't want to say too much but I want to get her back.

"I know I've made a complete muppet of myself by talking about her but it's worked and she is talking to me now.

"Sometimes I think I will get her back. I don't know if she will be able to forgive me but hopefully she will. Things sometimes sort themselves out for the right reasons. I don't want to jeopardise things, she is the best thing that happened to me."

Wallace - who returned to work two-weeks after the wedding debacle last year - has been written out of the soap for three months, in order to take a break.

A source said: "Jessie has realised that she needs to put her wellbeing first and the show bosses were very accommodating."
