Kylie celebrates with hits revival
Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue is celebrating 25 years in showbusiness by re-recording some of her old hits.
The singer, who released her debut single 'The Locomotion' in Australia in 1987, recorded an acoustic version of her 1992 hit 'Finer Feelings' at Abbey Road Studios.
More tracks from the session, which also featured a 24-piece orchestra, will be released throughout the year.
A video of the recording will be available on the star’s website but will only be released after 25,000 fans tweet £k25fans from 7pm tomorrow.
The star, who shot to fame in 'Neighbours', picked up an OBE in 2008 in recognition of a pop career that has seen her sell millions of albums and singles and transform herself from a manufactured pop star into a glamourous disco diva.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and underwent surgery and chemotherapy to beat the disease, before being given the all-clear the following year.
