Seal: Heidi and I will stay close for the kids

Seal has vowed to remain friends with wife Heidi Klum following their separation.

The singer-songwriter announced his split from the supermodel on Sunday after nearly seven years of marriage. They married in 2005 and famously renewed their vows on every wedding anniversary.

In a statement, the couple revealed they had decided to separate after “much soul searching”, blaming the break-up on “growing apart”.

Seal told Telepictures' Ellen De Generes Show that the couple will stay close for the sake of their four children.
