Spy film up for critics awards

Cold War thriller Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and the crime drama Drive lead the nominations for tonight’s London Film Critics’ Circle awards.

Gary Oldman – who plays George Smiley in the adaptation of John Le Carre’s celebrated spy novel – is up for best actor and British actor, while the film is also nominated for best film, British film, screenwriter and technical achievement.
