Stars curious about Gervais at tonight's Golden Globes ceremony

Hollywood stars are nervously wondering who'll be targeted when Ricky Gervais hosts the Golden Globes ceremony in Los Angeles tonight.

Brendan Gleeson and Michael Fassbender are up for globes.

But for many the focus will be on how well the host's unique sense of humour is received by the A-list audience.

TV critic Mark Eccleston says people tune in to see him:

"that's why its getting ratings, he's a really good host for this because its not the hugest award in the world and he just gives it an extra spice. Infact the betting is out on who he's going to insult first, and up there is Russell Brand and Katy Perry, second is Madonna"
