Guitarist overwhelmed by support following cancer diagnosis

Tony Iommi has said he has been overwhelmed by messages of support following the news he has been diagnosed with cancer.

The Black Sabbath guitarist has posted a message on his website thanking fans, friends and colleagues.

The 63-year-old is to undergo treatment for lymphoma.

He has also revealed that the rest of the band are moving from Los Angeles to London so they can continue working on new material.
