Wiig: No 'Bridesmaids' sequel in the pipeline

Kristen Wiig says she’s not making a Bridesmaids sequel.

The US actress starred in and co-wrote last year’s hugely successful comedy, which also featured Boyle man Chris O'Dowd.

But Kristen, who penned the movie with Annie Mumolo, told The Hollywood Reporter: “We aren’t working on that. Annie and I aren’t planning a sequel.

“We are writing something else.”

The ensemble comedy, produced for about $32m, grossed €288m worldwide.
