Soul singer James out of hospital

Etta James has been released from hospital, it has been confirmed.

The 73-year-old music legend – who is terminally ill with leukaemia – is resting at her home in Riverside, California, with her husband and a doctor after being discharged yesterday, and is said to be in a "stable" condition.
