Rowland wants 'X Factor' return
Kelly Rowland wants to return to 'The X Factor' next year.
The 'Down For Whatever' singer - who mentored third-place Amelia Lily in this year's series - explained despite a feud with co-judge Tulisa Contostavlos, she enjoyed her first year on the panel and is hoping boss Simon Cowell asks her to return.
She said: "There is no place like the UK 'X Factor'. If Simon wants me back next year, then that would be good."
Rowland, who is currently based in Los Angeles, is considering buying a house in the UK if she gets offered the gig again.
She added in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm definitely considering buying a house over here as I love it here.
"My mother would have a problem with me moving away from home so she may have to move with me. She doesn't like that long plane ride so I've got to make sure I make her happy."
However, the former Destiny's Child singer is concerned she will develop a British accent like Madonna if she stays in the UK too long.
She said: "If I went back to the States and I took some these accent moments with me, my friends would cut me down!
"They'd be like: 'Oh, Madonna, really?!' Like they would go in on me and I love Madonna, but yeah. I would need to be over here for years in order to get a British accent, not a couple of months."
