Lily motivated by 'Fix Factor' claims
Amelia Lily says she is more determined than ever to win 'The X Factor' following rumours it had already been fixed in her favour.
Earlier this week, the 17-year-old hopeful was mistakenly named as the victor by HMV after her 'winner's single' appeared on the music store's website, while the efforts of fellow finalists Little Mix and Marcus Collins were nowhere to be seen.
However, Amelia - who is being mentored by Kelly Rowland - says it was HMV's error but has made her realise how much she wants to win.
She said: "When Kelly and I found out about the HMV thing, we were really upset about it. People have their opinions, they say it was a fix, but it wasn't. It was an error; it was a mistake. It couldn't be helped and accidents happen. It's going to make me really determined to go out there on Saturday night and do my best - do better than before."
Amelia who was voted off by Kelly in the first week only to be brought back to replace Frankie Cocozza also said being kicked off had helped her cause.
She said: "I have had a rollercoaster of a journey. I went out in week one and came back five weeks later but you know what? If anything I think it kind of helped me. I came back stronger, I came back confident and I kind of figured out what kind of artist I wanted to be."
