Joxer won't be going to Poznan, says Moore

Christy Moore will not be resurrecting 'Joxer Goes to Stuttgart' to coincide with Ireland's involvement in Euro 2012

The song told of an Irish fan's trip to see Ireland in the Euro 88 championships during the Jack Charlton era.

However, Moore has insisted that he will not be bringing Joxer back to life this time around.

The singer said that Joxer was unique and cannot be repeated.

"Joxer's a one-off," he said. "You don't write another Joxer.

"It just happened, and it came on the air - but something else may emerge.

"There's no Joxer part two, it's not like Rambo."
