Baldwin launches tirade against airline on Twitter

Actor Alec Baldwin has gone on a Twitter tirade after he was kicked off a flight.

He was booted from a plane at Los Angeles Airport yesterday for playing a word game on his mobile phone, as the plane was about to depart for New York.

It wasn't clear if passengers had been asked to turn off their phones, which is typical before a flight backs away from the terminal.

The prolific Twitter user took to the social media site to vent against American Airlines and the flight attendant.

His spokesman says he boarded another flight to New York.
