Orbison widow dies on anniversary of singer's death

Barbara Orbison, the widow and manager of rock 'n' roll pioneer Roy Orbison, died on the 23rd anniversary of her husband's death, it emerged today.

The 60-year-old died from pancreatic cancer at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Centre yesterday surrounded by her sons, said her publicist and family spokeswoman Sarah McMullen. She had been in hospital since May.
