Aston happy being single

Aston Merrygold is worried he has "forgotten" how to be in a relationship.

The JLS singer has been single for three years but is hopeful he still knows what it takes to be a good boyfriend.

He said: "I had a conversation with my mum about dating the other day.

"She asked, 'Do you remember how to be in a relationship?' I replied, 'I don't think I do.' I'm worried I'll be out of practice but surely it's like riding a bike, right?

"I've been in relationships before and I'm hoping you don't forget how to do it."

Aston insists he is happy being single, but he has lots of admirers, should he change his mind.

He said: "I'm happy being single. I do get approached quite a bit. Though to be fair, I get chatted up by guys as well as girls.

"When a girl wants my attention in a club, she'll stare at me, then smile and look away.

"I don't have any chat up lines. I'm more interested in connecting with a girl on a personal level."

However, the 'Everybody in Love' hitmaker has no idea what he is looking for in a potential girlfriend.

He told Reveal magazine: "Even I don't know what a girl has to do to really impress me."
