BBC commissions third series of 'Mrs Brown’s Boys'

The BBC has commissioned a third series of Brendan O’Carroll's comedy 'Mrs Brown’s Boys'.

O'Carroll stars as widow Agnes Brown with his real family also starring in the series.

The series has its roots in a stage show and a series of novels.

The second series begins next month and there will also be a Christmas special.
