Ashley Cole targets acting career

Ashley Cole apparently wants to be a star player off the pitch, after taking up acting.

The Chelsea and England player will hit screens next year in a football-based documentary drama he is funding called 'Played'.

Also appearing in the film will be West Ham boss Sam Allardyce and England international Joe Cole.

Actor Danny Dyer will take the lead role as a dodgy agent.
