Jordan, McKeon, Flynn and O'Flanagan win at Book Awards

Neil Jordan, Belinda McKeon, Alan Flynn and Sheila O'Flanagan were among the winners at this year's Bord Gais Energy Irish Book Awards.

Seamus Heaney was last night presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the President Michael D Higgins.

During the ceremony former US President President Bill Clinton paid a pre-recorded tribute to Heaney describing him as "one of the world’s favourite poets".
