Kitty Brucknell has become the latest hopeful to be kicked off of the 'X Factor'.

The public vote pitched her against Misha B in the sing off but three of the four judges decided Kitty should go.

The 26-year-old sang Over The Rainbow – so often thought of as a goodbye song – and it proved the end as Misha won the judges over with Jessie J’s 'Who You Are'.

Louis Walsh – Kitty’s mentor – said both girls “absolutely killed it” and picked Misha B to go home.

Fellow judges Tulisa Contostavlos and Kelly Rowland praised the women’s performances but both sent Kitty home.

Take That star Gary Barlow had the final say and said the bottom two acts were the ones who “want it the most” but he agreed Kitty had reached the end of the road.

Last night’s special guest appearance came from 100 million record selling Lady Gaga.

The diva emerged from a mausoleum dressed as a decapitated corpse carrying her own head to perform her song 'Marry The Night'.

Amelia Lily, who on Saturday won a public vote to re-enter the competition to replace axed Frankie Cocozza, is now bookies’ favourite to win the show.
