Jail threat as Lohan back in court

Lindsay Lohan returns to court today for a hearing which could end with the actress being jailed if a judge rules that she violated her probation again.

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner has already revoked Lohan’s probation in a pair of court cases in Los Angeles and will decide whether the actress’s termination from a community service assignment warrants further punishment.

The 25-year-old’s court appearance nearly two weeks ago ended with Lohan being led from the courtroom in handcuffs.

A city prosecutor is asking that the former Disney star be sent to jail, but has not publicly revealed how long she will recommend she be locked up for.

Judge Sautner appeared exasperated with Lohan at the October 19 hearing, but needs to conduct a probation violation hearing before handing down any new punishment.
