Mills rents out country estate
Heather Mills is renting out her country estate.
The model-and-campaigner – who was previously married to Sir Paul McCartney – is asking for £7,995 a month for the eight-bedroom property, which is situated in Sussex and set in 15 acres of woodland and orchards.
The rental listing describes the estate as “A substantial 'Arts & Crafts' country house set in its own grounds of about 15 acres including a self-contained annexe, home office, swimming pool, tennis lawn, stables, formal gardens & woodland”.
Heather has also offered to leave her furniture in the £3m house but has not yet received any interest in the property, which was put up for rent earlier this month.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “It’s a stunning house, easily the best in the area. But it appears there aren’t too many willing to part with £7,995 a month in these tough times.”
The 43-year-old blonde – who lost her left leg below the knee in when she was hit by a police motorcycle in 1993 – is currently in training to try and get a spot on the Great Britain Ski team for the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Russia and is dividing her time between New York and Austria.
Heather – who has seven-year-old daughter Beatrice with Paul – bought the home in 2007 after splitting from the former Beatle.
