'Bend It Like Beckham' heads for stage

The film that launched Keira Knightley's career is being turned into a West End musical.

'Bend It Like Beckham' is going on stage in London and New York. It tells the story of a young girl following her footballing ambitions.

The 2002 film, which starred Kiera Knightley is being transferred to the stage by the same producers as handled 'Legally Blonde'.
