Beyonce Knowles is one of a "super species" of new pop stars, according to Simon Cowell.

The music mogul is a huge fan of the 'Run the World (Girls)' singer – who is currently expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z – because of her ambition and what she represents to younger female musicians.
